Vermont State Police have identified the driver wanted after crashing a stolen car in Monkton over the weekend.Investigators said Eugene Streeter of Burlington is wanted after he allegedly hit another driver head-on in Monkton on Sunday before fleeing the scene.Police believe Streeter stole the vehicle from an 83-year-old woman the previous day. Troopers said Streeter and another, unidentified person who was in the car with him may have been picked up by someone driving an older-model white Chevy pickup truck after the crash.Streeter is wanted on charges including leaving the scene of an accident with serious bodily injury resulting, grossly negligent operation and aggravated operation of a vehicle without the owner's consent.Anyone who has information is asked to contact police at 802-388-4919.
