Rebel star Prabhas who has been working on his latest projects with Maruthi and Hanu Raghavapudi is currently taking a well-deserved break in Italy after a hectic stretch of back-to-back shooting schedules. Known for his dedication and low-key lifestyle off-screen, the actor has chosen to spend most of April and May away from the media spotlight in scenic Italian towns before returning to work.
Pause after intensive shoot schedules
According to an India Today report, the actor revealed that this month-long holiday is a rare pause after completing major portions of his upcoming projects, including the highly anticipated 'The Raja Saab' and the war drama film which is rumoured to be called 'Fauji'.
Recovering from a minor injury
The report suggests that the 'Salaar' actor's break is also helping him recover from a minor leg strain sustained during his shoots and will resume filming in June, re-energized and ready to dive back into his packed schedule.
Upcoming projects
Upon his return, Prabhas is expected to complete the remaining scenes of 'The Raja Saab', a horror-romantic entertainer directed by Maruthi. He will continue patchwork for 'Fauji', a period war drama directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, which is expected for a grand release later this year.

Prabhas is also gearing up to start shooting 'Spirit', an ambitious cop drama helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, known for his work on 'Animal'. This film will mark Prabhas' first time portraying a police officer.
The 'Baahubali' actor will also be working with 'Hanu Man' fame director Prashanth Varma.
Apart from these films he will be also working on highly awaited sequels, including 'Salaar 2' and 'Kalki 2898 AD Part 2'. Following the massive success of 'Salaar', directed by Prashanth Neel, the sequel is expected to be released in 2026 and 'Kalki 2898 AD' is anticipated to hit the theatres in 2028.
