KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - East Tennessee Children’s Hospital, as part of Child Life Month, is hosting several events for patients through March.
The Child Life program was, in 1978 when it was implemented, the first of its kind in Tennessee. It’s all about helping pediatric patients cope with the anxiety and fear associated with hospitals.
One event was Tuesday, when ETCH child life specialists hosted a stuffed animal clinic.
