BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, July 13 (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): Opportunities for collaboration in the Asia-Pacific region as well as economic and health responses to accelerate recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic are set to be among the main focus of discussions between leaders from the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) member economies during the Informal APEC Leaders’ Retreat, which is set to be held virtually via video conference on July 16.
His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam will join the APEC meeting, which will be chaired by New Zealand’s Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern as Chairman of APEC for 2021.
